I made this book nook as a birthday gift for my sister, who, like me, dreams of one day opening a café that also doubles as a bookstore.

This was my first book nook, so it’s full of small imperfections, but I’m still incredibly proud of having turned my ideas into something tangible.

​

Every little corner of it reflects something about my sister and her love for books, from the miniatures representing some of her favorite titles to the tiniest details, like what’s written even on the piece of paper tossed into the desk’s trash bin (yes, maybe I’m a bit too detail-oriented...).

I can already see many things I could improve, and I hope to keep making more book nooks and dioramas in the future.
